David Marquard is the Principal of Bubuk Advisory.
David draws from his broad, multi-sector corporate consulting and operational experience to provide ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) advisory services.
He integrates strategic thinking, management consulting disciplines, operational practicality and a long-held love for nature, working with businesses to improve ‘sustainability’ in the world. Bubuk Advisory works with companies to help translate strong commitment and good intentions into reality through improved sustainable business practices and structures, and defining and implementing a practical and cost-effective journey to achieving ESG objectives.
David has recently assisted an ASX listed small mining explorer and producer to develop a cohesive and integrated ESG Program. The mining company will improve the governance structures and the transparency of their sustainability performance. They have re-stated their sustainability commitments and will provide better visibility to the market of how they monitor, measure and report on key sustainability criteria.
His work in the water sector emphatically underlined the increasing importance of natural resources and of water, in particular, to our planet. Water sector stakeholders in Australia, New Zealand, China and Vietnam, including regional councils, local community representatives, utilities, peak bodies, industrials and regulators all recognise the potential to make a real difference, whether at local, regional or international levels.
